Not too much to say about this funnel, except that for traditional large-mouth size canning jars, it is a perfect fit. The funnel is smartly made, very heavy responsibility and appears like it used to be constructed to remaining a lifetime. As others have mentioned, that is very to hand for many uses.

If you're looking for a funnel as a way to fit within same previous dimension canning jars, this isn't the fitting one to get. But that is definitely excellent for many things and is good for the huge-mouth measurement canning jars.

1/7/13 - revised your complete assessment now that I've had a year of canning to put this product through

This funnel is superb for vast mouth canning. It's very sturdy, heavy, and you know right from the start it will grasp up over time. You will consider me while you see it for yourself - yes, it's more expensive than different products, however it can be completely value it IMO.

I've used it for one canning season up to now (pickles, tomato sauce, salsas) and there is now not any rust, no wear, and it saved everything from spilling outdoor the jars!
