I replaced a 20 12 months outdated steel canning rack that was once very rusty.
The new stainless-steel was once shinny and just right to seem to be at. However... The rack is flimsy. The previous rack used to be inflexible and you must carry 6 jars out of the water. Not so with the brand new one.

I sold this a quantity of months in the past and wished to put it through its paces prior to reviewing. I am a significant canner and chrome steel baskets are awesome for reducing down jar scaling if you have laborious water. I truly have several and love them…but no longer this one. I don't love the means the handles are built-in into the bottom of the basket it’s unstable and so they stick continuously making it a struggle to get it unstuck so you can use it. The handle creates two slots.. the slots are kinda funky and stacking jars is out of the query with the v-shaped angle the deal withs create and I don't love how the jars sit within the basket...they tend to take a seat on a tilt and “float” which isn't good. I would never use this basket to raise jars…it’s just now not sturdy enough. The handles fall over constantly when you're loading it… then all of the welds all started to rust. That did it for me and I pitched the object.
